rdcom Messaging APIs
rdcom’s messaging services have been specially designed to be accessible through any type of application to offer our users the best experience possible. This allows you to decide which protocol best suits your requirements, both in terms of interconnection and traffic. These sets of protocols and recommendations are grouped under the term, Application Programming Interface (API).
The various connections allow you to easily manage both the sending of single A2P SMS and the sending of Bulk SMS, with the processing of these being assigned to our powerful and reliable servers.
Why Choose Our APis & Choose the Right One for You
Our APIs have been designed to be as simple as possible. The documentation clearly explains how to use them with practical and immediate examples. Our expert IT team is available to guide the customer through the implementation phase. As the needs of our customers change, so do our processes to ensure that we are delivering the highest levels of service possible.
Thanks to our APIs, your application can be equipped with the ability to send SMS with all of the data remaining within your own internal systems.
Every available interface aims to manage different types of traffic. Essentially, the interfaces are distinguished by protocol and SMS load. Anyone who is not accustomed to using the APIs can find an easier way to connect via HTTP / HTTPS.
Through HTTP/HTTPS it is possible to send single SMS or even up to 5,000 SMS with a single call. Interfacing protocols are also available with optimised performance but with increasing complexity of use. For example, you can use the FTP protocol, through which you upload a text file to our server, and our server takes care of extracting the information from the file and queuing the SMS.
Through the use of the HTTPS protocol it is possible to encrypt the exchange of information for increased data security. With the FTP protocol it is also possible to encrypt the file exchange. Following a large campaign being sent via FTP, it is then possible to quickly free up your server.
WEBSERVICE is a simple protocol that is useful in case you want to scale SMS traffic in the future.
SMPP, on the other hand, is for professionals only. This API is stable and powerful and allows you to directly connect to mobile operators.
