2025 marked an important milestone for rdcom: our 25th anniversary.
Twenty-five years of relationships, connections, and change.
A long story, of course — but above all, a starting point for what comes next. From the events that allowed us to “breathe” the market up close, to the projects that reminded us why investing in people truly matters, all the way to new advancements in our inTouch platform: it’s been a year of commitment on many fronts, pushing rdcom one step further.
Destination: the future. But the future is built as the sum of many small moments that brought us here. That’s why we want to look back together at some of the key events from these past 365 days.
A look at the market: what 2025 told us
2025 confirmed that our industry is evolving at an incredible speed. And to keep up with trends, developments, and innovation, we needed to be present.
So we travelled across the world, starting with the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona — the world’s largest and most influential event dedicated to connectivity and digital innovation. This year’s edition, with the theme “Converge. Connect. Create,” was essential to understanding where messaging is heading: toward smarter channels, more personalised experiences, and an AI that is no longer optional — but strategic.
And then we travelled even more: Dubai, London, Berlin, Madrid, Rome… Each stop made it clearer how the conversation between brands and people is changing — and how essential it is to listen, interact, and integrate.
In short, staying informed isn’t optional: it’s a responsibility.
Moving forward means moving together
This need to stay connected further strengthened our relationships with two key partners: MEF and GSMA. Collaborating with these organisations has helped us analyse the market with even more depth and awareness, enabling us to deliver greater compatibility, ongoing innovation, and 360-degree credibility to both customers and partners.
But while reinforcing existing partnerships is essential, creating new ones is just as important.
This is where our collaboration with Girls Code It Better comes in — an initiative by Officina Futuro Fondazione W-Group ETS that creates digital creativity and entrepreneurship programmes to bring young girls closer to technology and STEM careers.
Why this project? Because we want — and need — to commit to a technological future that’s more inclusive, more accessible, and richer in talent. A true cultural shift, valuing diversity as a driver of innovation. The road is long, but we want to take action… starting from schools, where everything begins.
In the second half of the year, we also welcomed a new partner: Legos, a telecom operator providing premium voice, mobile, SMS, and data services in over 19 European countries. This important collaboration will allow us to further enhance the efficiency and reliability of our global messaging services. It reflects our continuous commitment to offering scalable, compliant, and high-quality communication solutions to customers worldwide.
InTouch Now
Among the moments that defined 2025, InTouch Now (read more here) holds a special place. From October 2nd to 4th, we chose our own city to share strategies and technologies with experts and operators in the industry — and to celebrate 25 years of rdcom.
The first day was dedicated to partners, a chance to share strategic and technological updates. The goal? To build a deep and sustainable dialogue on how to grow together.
The heart of the event emerged on the second day with a workshop dedicated to RCS: an open discussion on how to transform a still little-known channel into a trusted tool. Scott Warner (Mobilesquared), Fabio Bussa (TIM Enterprise), Dario Betti (Mobile Ecosystem Forum), Bernd Heinen (Head of RCS, Telefónica Germany), Ricardo Martins (iBasis), Romina Kaboorani (G729) and Andreas Constantinides (MT160) joined our CEO Daniele Poerio to analyse a rapidly growing market.
The key message? For RCS to become a truly valuable business tool, trust must be built — technical trust, through solid infrastructures; economic trust, with clear pricing models; and strategic trust, supported by concrete data and KPIs.
Friday night at Villa Wallner was both a celebration and a moment of community: 25 years of rdcom found their space in an intimate toast, in an atmosphere of genuine connection. Saturday, lighter but equally meaningful, included a tour of Verona that gave all participants the chance to experience the city where we were born — a reminder that our future is built by staying true to our roots.
The redesign of inTouch
2025 was also a year to reflect on what it means to grow without losing our identity. We envisioned the redesign of our inTouch platform as the evolution of a geko — our symbol: we renewed the interface, streamlined the most frequently used paths, and aligned the website and store to a consistent visual language.
We revisited what people use every day: core interactions, the editor, registration and purchasing flows, and much more — with the goal of giving coherence to what was already working. Every element — from buttons to icons, from text to layouts — now follows a shared and recognisable visual language. This same principle guided the unification of store and website, which now speak with one common voice, as parts of a single narrative that complements itself. And this is not a destination: it’s a step in an ongoing journey. Like the geko, both inTouch and rdcom continue to evolve — staying true to their identity while adapting with agility to changing times.
And for 2026…
In short, 2025 has been a mosaic of moments — big and small — that together tell a story of real growth.
